Last week, Skyprep was super excited to be a participant as well as a sponsor of the ATD International Conference & Exposition in Denver. Meeting with industry professionals who needed to solve their business problems was something we were particularly interested and eager about.  At Skyprep, we are really proud of our LMS and are sure that it can help all different kinds of training problems. From compliance training, to simplifying training, to just organizing your content, Skyprep can easily do it, with the added bonus of being much cheaper than other learning management systems in the market. Therefore, our team was very happy to show off our platform to the thousands of visitors attending the conference.

 

Speaking with a broad range of thought leaders coming from all industries allowed us to learn about the problems people faced when it came to their training and learning. In the healthcare industry, file security and the guarantee that persons with disabilities can deal with our software without any barriers or difficulty were the factors that were sought after the most. Companies with 1,000 employees also had different needs than companies with 10,000 employees. Regardless of what peoples needs were, it was great knowing that Skyprep can help solve these individuals training needs by offering them our online training platform.

 

The conference was also very informative, with so many great and experienced speakers. Our favorite was the “4 Secrets of Training for Maximum Business Impact” discussed by Mr. Sardek Love. He spoke about the different ways in which to ensure that your online training can be effective. When you’re investing money into a software that is suppose to teach your employees, you want to ensure that participants are actually gaining knowledge, Mr. Sardek beautifully explained how to make this happen.

 

We also had a great opportunity to discuss with other vendors, that participated at the conference, about partnership possibilities. Maybe in the next few months, Skyprep will add new video conferencing tools after partnering with some of the great companies we spoke with.

 

Overall, the ATD conference is always a blast and is such a wonderful place to meet new people and discuss trends, solutions and general learning initiatives. We definitely came out of the conference with more knowledge and insight and we definitely can’t wait to go again next year.
